Hi, I am Osly

(Pronounced |Aus-Lee|)

I am the practice owner of Neurodiverse Mental Health, where I work as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). My specialty lies in supporting neurodivergent individuals, whether they are navigating life with or without comorbid psychiatric conditions. Having graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling in May 2020, I bring a wealth of training and experience to my practice.

As a young adult myself, I have a deep understanding and passion for working with other young adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach is person-centered and integrated, allowing me to tailor my support to each individual’s unique needs. Additionally, my multicultural background helps me approach each client with an open mind and build trust quickly.

At Neurodiverse Mental Health, I am committed to empowering individuals to thrive and navigate their personal journeys with confidence and resilience.

Therapy Approaches

Person-Centered Approach

Everyone has a unique way of thinking. I tailor your treatment based on how you learn and process information.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT can help you change your relationship with your emotions and/or mental health issues and how you respond to the issues in order to live more meaningfully.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT concentrates on challenging core beliefs (i.e. "I'm not good enough," "No one loves me," "I'm a failure.") to promote more positive behavioral changes.

Principles from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

Principles from DBT (i.e. interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance) can help you cope and live with a variety of life's challenges.

Let's Talk

The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can meet and talk about what's on your mind.
